At Calacatta Customs, we take pride in delivering professional, high-quality granite, quartz, marble, and solid surface installations. While we work to ensure your stone surfaces are installed correctly and look beautiful, it’s important to understand the scope and limitations of our warranty.


Installation Workmanship Warranty

We provide a limited one-year workmanship warranty on all new stone installations. This warranty covers defects directly caused by installation errors.

This warranty applies only to installation workmanship and lasts one year from the date of completion.


What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Cosmetic repairs, crack filling, grinding, polishing, or refinishing
  • Color, gloss, or texture variations between samples and installed stone
  • Natural characteristics of stone, including fissures, veining, pits, or minor surface imperfections
  • Damage from heat, impact, misuse, excessive weight, or structural movement
  • Pre-existing defects in cabinets, plumbing, or other supporting structures
  • Work performed or modified by third parties after installation

Important: Repairs, touch-ups, or refinishing are considered cosmetic and are not covered under this warranty.


Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Ensure cabinets and supporting structures remain level and properly supported
  • Avoid placing extreme heat or excessive weight directly on the stone
  • Follow recommended care and maintenance for the stone type installed
  • Provide reasonable access for inspection if a warranty claim arises
  • Report any installation issues promptly in writing

Failure to meet these responsibilities may void the warranty.


Limitation of Liability

  • Calacatta Custom’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of the original installation.
  • We are not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of use, inconvenience, or damage to surrounding cabinetry, floors, walls, or personal property.
  • The homeowner agrees to hold Calacatta Customs harmless from claims related to conditions outside our control

Warranty Claim Procedure

If you believe there is an installation defect:

  1. Contact Calacatta Customs in writing immediately upon discovery.
  2. Provide a detailed description and, if possible, photos of the issue.
  3. Allow reasonable access for inspection and verification.

If a valid installation defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected area to correct the installation defect.


Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with installation, making final payment, or using the stone surfaces, customers acknowledge that they have:

  • Read, understood, and accepted the terms of this warranty
  • Accepted that natural stone has inherent characteristics and that cosmetic variations are normal
  • Agreed that repairs, polishing, or crack filling are not covered under this warranty
  • Agreed to follow all customer responsibilities outlined above

Our one-year workmanship warranty covers installation errors only. Cosmetic repairs, natural stone variations, dust, odors, adhesives, or any post-installation modifications are not covered. By choosing Calacatta Customs, customers can have confidence in the professionalism and quality of their stone installation while understanding the natural and practical limitations of stone surfaces.
